Deependra is a Medical Devices (Imaging) industry professional backed by a strong track record of delivering business growth, innovation and customer satisfaction at Fortune 50 corporations. His global experience includes several international roles, in key leadership positions across Europe, North America, Israel and India. He recently founded Mediant Group LLC providing consultancy services in the healthcare industry.
At a time when the healthcare industry was seriously challenged worldwide, Deependra was recognized for consistent double-digit growth of his P&L in the United States taking it to ~$250 million, contributing directly to GE Healthcare’s revenue. His functional experience includes successes in business management, R&D, product development, product service and capital equipment sales
Deependra has to his credit, US and European patents in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and prides in being the inventor of mid- and high-field MRI coils. After commercializing 40+ MRI coils, for all major MRI OEM manufacturers, including the first multi-channel breast biopsy coil, he went on to introduce illuminated coils and ultra-high-resolution breast imaging apparatuses to aid early detection.
Deependra is a product of GE’s famed management school at Crotonville as also executive education from McCombs School of Business in general management. He is a proud alumnus of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Osmania University and also has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Walden University in his repository.
Deependra lives in Texas (USA), and is married to another OU alumnus and has 2 children. He devotes a significant portion of his time helping clients to start, grow or operate their business as part of the Small Business Administration (SBA).
